This page describes ntropyx.com, the website. The NTROPYX Simulator app is a separate product with its own policy — see NTROPYX Simulator — Privacy Policy.
In short. This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising, no third-party scripts and no external fonts. Nothing you read here is tracked. Three entries are written to your own browser, and two forms send information to us — but only at the moment you submit them.
This site sets no cookies. Not an advertising cookie, not an analytics cookie, not a technical one. Nothing is placed on your device by our server, and no third party is allowed to place anything either: the site loads no external script, no embedded video, no social widget and no hosted font.
There is therefore nothing for you to accept or refuse, which is why you are never shown a consent banner. A banner asking you to approve cookies that do not exist would tell you something untrue.
Three entries are written to your browser's local storage. They stay on your device, they are never transmitted, and we have no way to read them.
You can remove all three at any time by clearing site data for ntropyx.com in your browser settings. Removing them costs you nothing but an empty basket and a re-typed address.
Two forms transmit information, and only when you submit them.
The contact form sends the fields you filled in — including your email address — to our commercial desk. Ticking the consent box is required before the form can be sent, and the message records that you ticked it.
The order form sends your delivery details, your basket, the calculated amounts and any note you added. A PDF invoice carrying the Swiss QR payment section is generated and sent with it, and a copy of that confirmation is emailed to the address you gave, so that you hold the same document we do.
Both messages also carry the IP address of the connection that submitted the form. We include it as a record of the submission and to investigate abuse of the forms.
There is no database behind this site. Enquiries and orders exist only as email in our mailbox.
Each submission is rate-limited: at most five per hour from the same connection, and at least eight seconds between two. To count them without keeping a register, the server writes a small file in its temporary directory whose name is a SHA-256 hash of the IP address. The file holds nothing but the times of the recent submissions, the hash cannot be turned back into an address, and the operating system clears the directory on its own.
This site is published by Virgo Global Energy SA, which is responsible for the processing described above.

Orders and the invoices that go with them are kept for ten years: an order confirmation carrying an invoice is an accounting record, and Swiss bookkeeping requires that term.
Enquiries that never become an order are deleted after twelve months. Nothing obliges us to keep them that long — twelve months simply covers a full purchasing cycle, after which holding them would be hoarding rather than working.
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use. The route is the contact form; say plainly what you are asking for and we will answer you there.
The details kept in your own browser are not covered by that request, because they never reach us: you delete them yourself, from your browser.
If what the site stores or sends ever changes, this page changes with it and the effective date above is updated. We will not add tracking, advertising or third-party analytics without saying so here first.
