NTROPYX Simulator — Privacy Policy

NTROPYX Simulator (“the app”) is published by Virgo Global Energy S.A. (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app processes and how.

Summary. The app is a measurement tool. Your fuel measurements, GPS routes, pump photos and reports stay on your device. The app has no user account, shows no ads, and does not track you. The only data that leaves your device is your location coordinate, sent to Apple Weather to retrieve weather conditions during a road test.

1. Data processed on your device only

• Trip measurements (distance, speed, duration, fuel litres, computed consumption)
• GPS route and location samples recorded during a road test
• Pump photos you capture
• Generated PDF reports

These are stored locally on your device. We do not receive, collect, or store them on any server. Pump photos may also be saved to your device’s Photos library at your request, where they remain under your control.

2. Data sent off your device

Location coordinate → Apple Weather (WeatherKit). During a road test, the app sends the current location to Apple’s WeatherKit service to retrieve weather conditions (temperature, wind, etc.) for the measurement. This request is handled by Apple and governed by Apple’s privacy policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). We do not receive this data ourselves.

3. Device permissions

• Location (including while driving / in the background): to measure distance and speed during a road test, and to retrieve weather.
• Camera: to photograph the fuel pump total as proof for the report.
• Photos (add only): to save the pump photo to your library as a backup.
• Motion & fitness: to detect when the vehicle is stopped, so GPS drift is not counted as distance.

You can change or revoke these permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

4. What we do NOT do

• No user account or sign-in.
• No analytics, advertising, or third-party trackers.
• No selling or sharing of personal data.
• No servers operated by us; we do not collect your measurements.

5. Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device until you delete it. Delete a saved test in the app, or delete the app, to remove the associated data. Photos you saved to your library are removed via the Photos app.

6. Children

The app is intended for professional/field use and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
